Dale Patrick Clarke

Dale Patrick Clarke, 65, of Roanoke, TX, formerly of Farmersville, IL, died on Thursday, October 29 at his home.  Dale was born on June 2, 1961 in Litchfield, the son of Patrick and Margaret Clarke of Farmersville.

Dale attended St. Isidore Grade School and graduated from Lincolnwood High School with the Class of 1979.  Dale married the love of his life, Ronda Kolkhorst, on May 30, 1981. They soon moved to Texas to start their careers and raise their beautiful family, Danielle and Dustin. Dale and Ronda celebrated 45 years of marriage on May 30, 2026.

Dale is survived by his wife Ronda; daughter Danielle (Charles) Rombold; and son Dustin Clarke. Both children reside in the area near their parents. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Rhett, Reeve, and Bradley Rombold, Dale’s pride and joy.

Also surviving are his mother, Margaret, brother Lynn (Patty) Clarke all of Farmersville and Brad Kolkhorst (Jim) of Palm Springs, CA, and niece Kelsey (Clarke) Johnson and nephew Clayton Clarke.; and several aunts and uncles.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Patrick; mother-in-law Jackie (Henry) Bertoux; father-in-law Ron Kolkhorst; and brothers, Dennis and Chris.

Dale most of all enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and attending events in which his grandchildren were involved. Dale enjoyed all kinds of sports, and particularly followed his beloved Texas Tech and Stars. Dale spent many hours fishing and hunting with his best friends and family.

Dale will be sadly missed by the many co-workers, friends and family that loved him so dearly.

Dale will be celebrated with a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. November 20, 2026 at Saint Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5201 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, Texas.
