Cynthia Ann Sprouse was born on June 30, 1961, in Galveston, Texas. On the morning of May 29, 2025, while holding her daughter Crystal’s hand, our sweet mom took her last breath. She has been reunited in Heaven with her mother, Maria, who preceded her in death when she was only 14 years old.
Cindy was a devoted mother and loving granny who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and sitting around a fire, telling funny stories from the past. She was loved by all — a friend to everyone — with an open heart and a willing ear. She was everyone’s mom; her sweet smile and deeply caring eyes served as an open invitation to anyone who needed a hug and a little bit of love.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Garces Salazar; her husband, Thomas “PowPow” Sprouse; her sisters, Yolanda Salazar, and Ida Salazar; and her brother, Able Salazar.
She is survived by her brothers, Arthur, and Armando Salazar; her children, Michael Pucciarello and wife Stephanie, Crystal Pucciarello and husband Justin Lewis, Thomas Pucciarello, and Pete Pucciarello and wife Crystal. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Sean Pucciarello, Ashlyn Gowin and husband Skylar, Taylor Pucciarello, Kylie Eustace, Jordan Pucciarello, Sania Taylor, Thomas Pucciarello, Trace Pucciarello, Tamia Ford, Jackson Pucciarello, Bree Pucciarello, Petey Pucciarello, Troy Pucciarello and Tevin Pucciarello; and her great-grandchildren: Stetson Eustace and Laylyn Hobbs. Cindy also leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews.
