Craig Price

Craig Ulys Price, aged 59, passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2025 surrounded by his family after a courageous 26 -month battle with brain cancer. Born on January 27, 1966, in Corpus Christi, TX, to Bud and Helen Price, Craig was raised in Waco, TX, and graduated from Richfield High School in 1983. He continued his education at Tarleton State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

During college summers, Craig worked as a ranch hand at Devil's Thumb Ranch in Colorado and participated in local rodeos as a team roper. Though he cherished this lifestyle, he later chose to further his career by pursuing an RPLS in surveying at the age of 30. His professional journey led him to SAM, LLC, where he ultimately served as Senior Vice President and Southwest Regional Manager.

On October 17, 2015, Craig married Lisa in Fort Worth, TX-a day he regarded as one of the best days in his life. Together, they enjoyed traveling, engaging in sporting clay tournaments, and creating lasting memories.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Helen Price as well as his brother Bradley Price.

Craig is survived by his wife, Lisa Price; daughters Abigail Kraatz and her spouse Brett Kraatz, and Morgan Franklin and her spouse Richard Franklin, in addition to many loving family members and close friends. Craig was a special man and loved by many. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S Main Street, Keller, TX 76248 at 2:00 p.m. on September 27, 2025 to honor and remember the life of Craig Price.
