Constance Joan McCormack

Constance Joan McCormack, age 94, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026.

Constance was born on November 25, 1931, in Winner, South Dakota, to Wallen and Cecelia Cameron. She grew up with a strong work ethic, a caring heart, and a lifelong appreciation for learning and creativity. She attended Vallejo High School in Vallejo, California, and later studied at Solano Community College in Fairfield, California.

Throughout her career, Constance proudly served as a bus driver for Golden Gate Transit in San Francisco. She was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1225 and took great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her years of service.

Constance found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader and enjoyed expressing her creativity through art and sewing. She also loved cooking for family and friends, sharing both meals and memories with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dennis Michael McCann.

Constance leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her son, Mark McCormack; daughter-in-law, Joan McCormack; granddaughters, Christina McCormack and Jessica McCormack; and great-grandson, Koda Patten. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family invites those who knew and loved Constance to remember her life through the kindness, compassion, and quiet strength she shared with others throughout her 94 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas in honor of Constance's love for animals.
