Christopher Martinez passed away on June 9th, 2025 at the age of 47. He was born on May 30th, 1978 in Fort Worth, TX and was the beloved son to Rosa and Cristobal Martinez. He grew up in Haltom City with his younger sister, Marissa. Chris loved sports, music and spending time with his family and friends. He played the trumpet from junior high until the first year of high school, and was a member of the National Honor Society. He also ran track and played football and basketball while attending Haltom City High. After graduation, he attended McPherson College in Kansas, and then later transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington. While working at Six Flags in Arlington during the spring of 1998, Chris met his loving wife, Holly. They married in the fall of 2000, and together they had two children, Isabelle and Aiden. He worked at American Airlines for over 25 years, first as a Stock Clerk and then as a Tech Crew Chief.

Chris' enthusiasm for fun and adventure took him on many exciting trips around the U.S. and other countries. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities including running, fishing, kayaking, gardening and hiking. An avid football fan, his support never wavered for his hometown team, the Dallas Cowboys. He often sported merchandise of his team showing his pride. Watching them play was one of his favorite pastimes. He was a devoted husband and a proud father. His love for his children was unmatched, never missing a sporting event or important milestone. From soccer games to school events, he was always there to show his love and support.

Chris is survived by his wife Holly, his daughter Isabelle, his son Aiden and his sister, Marissa Bigham. He is also survived by his loving parents and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
