Charles Albert Thompson

Charles (Chuck) Albert Thompson, 86, passed away on March 31, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on May 7, 1939, in Manning South Carolina, Chuck later made Texas his home, where he spent most of his life and built lasting roots.
Chuck dedicated 50 years of hard work to Halliburton, where he built not just a career but lasting relationships and a reputation for loyalty and dedication.
He was known for his playful spirit , down to earth personality and love of humor, especially his signature corny jokes that brought smiles to everyone around him. Chuck found joy in the simple things in life including, browsing the aisles of Dollar Tree, trying to be “krafty,” and enthusiastically collecting “As Seen on TV” products. He truly enjoyed testing out his latest finds and showing his kids his finished projects.
Chuck is survived by his children, Brandi Maynard, Codi Thompson, Scooter Callaway, Terry, and Kelly Thompson; his grandchildren, Austin Thompson- Martin Sherry Packer, Ashton Wilcoxen, Bryson Maynard, Zoey Sotelo, Phoenix Thompson, Stella Thompson, Harbor Thompson, Lauren Callaway and Zack Callaway along with his great-grandchildren Beckett Wilcoxen and Beckham Sotelo, Luke , Liam and Mary Martin . He also has numerous family Thriving in South Carolina.
He was the greatest papa and dad you could have ever imagined. He will always live on in our hearts.
