Charles Rachal Jr, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother and friend to all who knew and loved him. He was born on May 8, 1965 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Laura Rachal.

Charles was the biggest Chicago Bears fan and never gave up on them. A great joy for him was the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series in 2016. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, poker and pool. He enjoyed his time as a truck driver and got to visit 48 of the 50 states. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. Charles served a tour of active duty with the Army Reserves in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Charles is survived by wife, Wendy of Fort Worth, Texas; children Kristen (Jason) Lopez of Colombia; Whitley Cotten (Chris) Winslett of Arlington, Texas and Colton Cotten of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren Natalia Lopez and Jordan Lopez and McKenzye Cox Winslett and Braylon Winslett; father and mother Charles Sr and Laura Rachal of Boyce, Louisiana; sister Detral (Stephen) Hillanbrand of Fort Worth, Texas; brother Chris Sr (Tasha) Rachal of Little Rock, Arkansas; niece Jordan Hillanbrand; nephews Chris Rachal Jr. and Jay (Shyla) Hillanbrand and great nephew Atticus Hillanbrand; additional aunts, uncles and numerous cousins that he loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held in Fort Worth, Texas in January and in Chicago, Illinois in May 2024. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Charles' name.
