Obituary

Pastor Charles “Chuck” Gamble, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Army veteran, pastor, and accomplished musician, passed away at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, love, and devotion to God, family, and country.

Chuck was a man whose life was marked by steadfast commitment and selfless service. As a proud United States Army Veteran, he faithfully served his country with honor. Throughout his life, he carried that same spirit of dedication into every role he embraced, whether as a pastor, musician, husband, father, or friend.

A gifted guitarist from an early age, Chuck's musical talents were recognized when he received the prestigious American Guild of Music Award at just twelve years old. Music remained one of his lifelong passions, and his extraordinary ability brought joy, inspiration, and encouragement to countless people throughout the years. Whether on a church platform, in a gathering of friends, or among family, Chuck's music reflected the faith and joy that defined his life.

More than his accomplishments, Chuck will be remembered for his servant's heart. As a faithful pastor, he devoted his life to sharing the Gospel, ministering to others, and demonstrating Christ's love through both word and action. He loved serving people, offering encouragement, counsel, and friendship to all who crossed his path. His compassion, humility, and unwavering faith touched countless lives and left an enduring impact on his community.

Chuck shared a remarkable 55-year marriage with the love of his life, Pat Gamble. Together they built a strong, faith-filled family and created a legacy that will continue for generations.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Gamble; his children, Jason (Chrissy) Gamble, Shelly (Rick) Steen, and Brian (Sheryl) Bonifant; seven cherished grandchildren; and eight beloved great-grandchildren, with one additional great-grandchild eagerly anticipated.

Those who knew Chuck knew a man of integrity, character, and deep conviction. He loved God, loved his family, loved serving others, and loved his country. He lived with purpose, generosity, and grace, continually placing the needs of others before his own.

While his family and friends grieve his earthly passing, they find comfort in knowing that he has entered into the presence of the Savior he faithfully served throughout his life. His example of faith, service, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23

Pastor Chuck Gamble's life was a testament to the power of faith, the importance of family, and the joy of serving others. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever treasured until the day of reunion in Heaven.
