Chuck Hyo Sung Chung

Charles Hyo Sung Chung, “Chuck,” Age 50, of Keller, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2026. Chuck was born on February 21, 1976, in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Arroyo Grande, California. He attended Coastal Christian High School before continuing his education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he earned both his undergraduate degree and master’s degree. Chuck came to know the Lord during his high school years, and his faith remained an important part of his life. He was a member of Bear Creek Bible Church, where he loved to serve and worship with others.

Chuck was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He married his beloved wife, Jennifer Chung, on July 10, 2004. Together they built a family and shared many years of life, love, and memories. He was a loving father to his son, Nathan, and daughter, Wendy.

Those who knew Chuck will remember him for the ways he cared for others and brought people together. He especially loved cooking for people, finding joy in preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends. He also loved fishing with his brother even when he didn’t catch anything.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, ILL Chun Chung and Kyoung Ae Chung.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Chung; his son, Nathan Chung; his daughter, Wendy Chung; and his brother, Jeff Chung.

Chuck will be deeply missed by his family, friends, church community, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the people he loved, the meals he shared, the time he spent with those around him, and the faith he carried throughout his life.
