Casey Shawn Wise, born April 2, 1985, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 14, 2026, at his home in Añasco, Puerto Rico. He was 41 years old.
Casey is survived by his two daughters, Natalie Wise and Zoe Whitfield; the mothers of his children, Tiffany Edwards and Zenith Wise; his parents, Stephanie Wise, Tye Wise, and Debbie Wise; his brothers, Jeremy Bailey, Kristopher Wise, and Corby Barron; and many extended family members and friends he cared for deeply.
Casey was raised by a devoted family across multiple households, an experience that helped shape his independent spirit from an early age. As a child and young man, he was energetic, strong-willed, and full of life.
In early adulthood, Casey served briefly in the United States Army. Over the years, he worked a variety of jobs, most often in automotive repair, where he enjoyed working with his hands and solving complex problems.
In 2004, he welcomed his first daughter, Natalie, with Tiffany. In 2007, he met Zenith, and in doing so welcomed his second daughter, Zoe, into his family. Casey and Zenith were married in 2009 and shared many meaningful years together.
Throughout his life, Casey developed a deep love for hobbies that brought people together, including disc golf, billiards, grilling, and travel. More than anything, he was devoted to his family and took great pride in being a father.
In his later years, Casey found a renewed sense of purpose through his Christian faith, becoming an active member of First Baptist Hurst. In 2025, he relocated to Puerto Rico, where he quickly became known for his kindness and connection to those around him.
Casey had a passion for exploring the world and dreamed of traveling to all seven continents. Though his journey was cut short, he lived with a spirit of curiosity, faith, and love that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026. A celebration of life will follow at Bronco’s Sports Bar & Grill, 900 Airport Freeway, Suite 166, Hurst, Texas, at 1:30 p.m. A private family burial will take place between these events at Smithfield Cemetery.
Flowers are welcome and may be sent in honor of Casey to the funeral service.
He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion that will continue to guide those who knew him.
