Caden Lake Nowicki

April 1, 2008 — January 29, 2026

Ponder

Caden Lake Nowicki, beloved child of God and devoted follower of Christ was called home to be with his Savior on January 29, 2026, at the age of 17. Born on April 1, 2008, in Lewisville, Texas, he was deeply loved by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Caden was the beloved son of Ryan and Brandi (Jackson) Nowicki and a devoted brother to Landon and Ashton Nowicki. A senior at Ponder High School, Caden was known for his huge heart, warm smile, and the way he always put others first. He had a natural ability to make people feel seen, cared for, and valued.

Caden had many passions and talents. He loved cooking, fishing, woodworking, football, music, and anything artistic. He cherished time spent with family and friends and could often be found talking or laughing with those closest to him. A devoted sports fan, Caden proudly supported the Detroit Lions and the Michigan State Spartans. Above all, he was funny, kind-hearted, and deeply compassionate—qualities that defined him and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Caden was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Nowicki, and his beloved Papa, John Arwine.

He is survived by his parents, Ryan and Brandi Nowicki; brothers, Landon and Ashton Nowicki; grandmothers, Brenda Nowicki and Jane Arwine; grandparents, Eric and Candy Jackson; aunt and uncle, Kristi and Corey Long; aunt and uncle, Veronica and Jason Nowicki; cousins, Jackson Long, Chase Nowicki, and Emerson Nowicki; great aunt, Carol Ann Puckett; and second cousins, Leann and Michael Hergenrader, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 5:44 PM to 7:44 PM at Fellowship of the Parks – Northlake.

The Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 10:44 AM at Fellowship of the Parks – North Fort Worth and child care will be provided for those that need it.

In lieu of flowers, the family is in the process of establishing a foundation in Caden’s honor. In the meantime, memorial contributions may be made to The Wyatt Dickerson Foundation or the Live Like Kennedy Foundation.

Caden’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and kindness. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. Honoring Caden’s wish, the gift of life has been shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation.

Love Like Caden Nowicki.
