Brandon Melendez, resident of Haltom City, TX, Formerly of Bakersfield, CA, passed away on
February 11th, 2026 in Burleson, TX at the age of 24 years.
Brandon was born in Bakersfield, California and raised across the US and Mexico. He graduated
Centennial High School in 2020, and went on to work at Collins Aerospace. Brandon was known
to be an amazing, kind, and sweet soul. His love of everyone in his life was shown through his
actions. He always had a simple pick me up or the question “you good, dude”?
Determination was important and his code. He was driven by ambition and goal orientated; he
was a man who could make it happen. Commitment came naturally, like a reflex. He had a great
sense of common sense as a young man and was never angry, but he was disciplined. Brandon
was full of Gods compassion and love turned his eyes to the people around him. Food was his
love language.
He attended St. Ann Catholic Church. The gym was his club, and he enjoyed going to the bar to
play pool and beat his friends. He played Xbox and enjoyed games like Fortnite, Marvel Rivals,
Warzone, Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Brothers, The Wind Waker, and had a love for
Spiderman.
