Bonnie Jean Whatley, 96 passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at a local care center.
She was born June 7, 1926 in Midway Arkansas to Isaac and Nell Spurlin. She married Harold Whatley in January of 1949. She retired as a Special Needs Teacher's Aide for the Birdville ISD.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Whatley, her brother Edward Spurlin, and her son Wade Whatley.
Survivors: Her sons, Wayne Whatley and William Whatley; grandchildren: Isaac and wife Judy, Michael and Lauren: great-grandchildren Monty and Clint Lake.
Family will meet Thursday , February 9, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, 11:00 am to 12:00pm then meet a Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park at 12:30 pm for a graveside service.
