BEDFORD -- Bobby Joe Petrey, 80, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Graveside service 11am Monday at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 1pm-3pm Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
A native of Lampasas, Bobby Joe was born February 3, 1936 to Bonnie Lacefield and Vess Petrey. He served in the Texas National Guard. Bobby Joe was a member of the U.A.W and retired from Bell Helicopter after 30 plus years of service.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Lay (Richard), Gary Petrey (Janet), James Petrey (Tere); grandchildren, Ashley Knapp (David), Michelle Ott (Parker), Brittany Petrey (Mike Erkol), Michaela Petrey, Kaitlyn Petrey, Austin Petrey; brother, Gerald Petrey (Kim).
