Billy James Moody age of 77 passed away on July 2, 2026 in Grapevine, Texas.

He battled heart disease from an early age as well as other medical conditions.

He was Born in Houston, Texas on September 14, 1948.

Native of Houston,Texas he is survived by his wife, Angela Perez Moody. Racquel and her husband Todd Zoller, Natalie Perez. Frank and his wife Crystal Perez. Christine and her husband Anthony Rivera. His son Ryan Moody, Chris Moody and Michelle Moody. Billy was born to His Parents Billy James Moody Sr. and Birdie Joyce Moody from Houston Texas , that are now proceeded with the Lord. Sister’s Theresa and her husband Joe Patitz, Debbie and her husband Johnny Belasquez and Sisters Brenda Moody and Joanne Nagel, Brothers Jerry Moody and Tom Miller that are also with the Lord. Survived by Barbara Miller Toms wife Blessed with 22 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren as well Many nephews and nieces with friends and families that Loved Him.

Billy grew up a longtime resident of Houston, Texas and graduated of MacArthur High School played football and a trainer in football as well a volunteer Fire fighter.

He Joined the Marines Corp in May of 1969 to April 1973 and fought in the Vietnam War. He became a Corporal for his unit, and received honorable Medals. He enjoyed hunting on the deer lease. He also enjoyed hunting, deep sea fishing, boating. He was an over the road 18 wheel truck driver. He knew Texas like the back of his hand, every back road if he didn’t know he would find his way.

Loved his family in Houston Texas. Later he moved to Fort Worth and Married into a Family and loved them like his own.
