Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Sweets Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Ben was born July 15, 1947.
Survivors: Wife, Brenda Lee Smith; parents, Zeb Ivan and Mary Beth Smith; sister, Judy Staats and husband, Harold; and mother-in-law, Frances Borden.
