Barbara Crumby

Barbara Crumby, born on June 14, 1948, in Erwin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a beloved figure, whose warmth and compassion touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara graduated from Kaplin High School in Kaplin, Louisiana, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with love, family, and friendship. On June 1, 1988, she proudly married her soulmate, David Crumby, building a beautiful life together filled with cherished memories.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Crumby, their two sons, Larry Gordon and Frank Gordon, and her dear sisters, Patricia Sullivan and Sandra Edwards. Barbara’s vibrant spirit and loving nature will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Barbara is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Edwards, who left behind a legacy of love that continues to resonate within the hearts of those she touched.

A memorial service to honor Barbara’s remarkable life will be held on October 17, 2025, at the Lucas Funeral Home - Chapel, located at 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas, 76248. The service will begin at 2:00 PM, with the opportunity for friends and family to gather and celebrate her life until 3:00 PM.

Barbara Crumby’s life was a testament to kindness, love, and resilience, and though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
