Barbara Maye Avery

Barbara Maye Avery (Cameron), 48, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on December 24, 2023, in Joshua, Texas. She was born on January 26, 1975. Barbara was the beloved Wife to Greg and a loving Mother to her Daughter Brianna and Son Stanton. She was also survived by her eight younger siblings: Jennifer, Buddy, Becky, Buster, Ben, Matt, Glen, and Jonny.

Barbara was a fun-loving and sweet person who was adored by everyone who knew her. She had a contagious joy that spread to those around her. However, if she didn't like you, she made sure you knew it. Barbara had a passion for life and loved bowling, camping, fishing, and going on vacations and road trips with her kids.

Barbara had a successful career as the General Manager of Brunswick Westcreek Lanes. She was dedicated to her work and brought her enthusiasm for bowling to her profession. Her commitment and leadership skills made her an invaluable asset to the company.

A ceremony to honor Barbara's life will be held at Lucas Funeral Home located at 518 SW Johnson Ave, Burleson, TX 76028. The details of the service will be shared with family and close friends.

Barbara will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her infectious laughter, Bright smile, and loving nature will forever be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
