Asuncion Molina Vazquez, affectionately known as “Suzy” and "Bo. Miraflores", passed away on March 24, 2026, at the Blessed age of 101.
Suzy was born on November 15, 1924, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to Fructuosa Vazquez Feliciano and Manuel Maria Molina Gonzalez. Suzy was raised in a humble and loving family of which she was the baby. She attended Jefferson High School in Arecibo, Puerto Rico; Ofelia Dacosta Actors School and Sharon Riley Rexach Actors School.
Suzy acted in many soap operas and sketch variety shows in the local Puertorrican television. She did shoe modeling in NYC and was a Private Investigator with permit to carry. More than anything, Suzy loved sewing for her daughters, family members and enjoyed playing dominoes, beating all of her opponents. Suzy was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliaries-Unit 48, Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Lioness Club, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
Suzy is preceded in death by her parents Fructuosa & Manuel; siblings: Maria de Jesus (F. Arroyo), Jaime (Paula Lugo), Pastor (Genoveva Centeno), Elena (Anibal Boneta), Patria (David Morales), Rogelio (Ana Smith).
Suzy is survived by her daughters Migdalia and Frances; grandchildren Amy Melton (Javier Altoran), Robert Melton (Kassondra Landmesser), David Melton, Emilio López (Jacqueline Encarnacion), Arlene Rosado (Rori Melecio), Yaminette Rosado. Great-grandchildren Jemilie López (Cesar Diaz), Valerie López (Irammys Esquilin), Karla López (Harry Negron), Javier López (Noelys Valentin) Evandro Melton (Fiance Angela), Leonardo Melecio, Harper, Wrenlee, and Sawyer Melton. Great-great grandchildren Ceilianys, Jemziel, Valentina, Jevier, Camila, Isahir, Danielys, Sofia, Liam, and soon to join baby Sarah.
Her smile, sense of humor, and concern for her loved ones and extended family members will be missed by all until we see her in Resurrection.
