Arthur Richard Schuster

Arthur Schuster, resident of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Larkspur, Colorado, passed away on August 12, 2026 at Huguley Hospital at the age of 92 years.

He was born on May 1, 1934 in Hayes, Kansas and raised in Ellis, Kansas. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service in the military, he began his career as a carpenter by trade and embraced the life of a small rancher. In 1959 he married his beloved wife, Rita Kozlowski. Together, they raised four boys; Mark, Robert, Jimmy, and Jerry. Apart from being a hard-worker and devoted to his family, he was a devoted member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Later in life, he attended the Burleson Senior Center where he enjoyed the companionship of his peers and a variety of social activities.

He is survived by his wife; Rita Schuster, his children; Mark Schuster of Springtown, TX, Jimmy Schuster of Delta, CO, and Jerry Schuster of Kinsley, KS, his grandchildren; Jeffrey Schuster, Callie Schuster, Jordan Schuster, Miles Schuster, Mallory Domonoski, Peyton Pawlowski, and Logan Schuster, his great-grandchildren; Stone and Sterling Schuster, Jayden, Kinsey, Kreu, Olivia, and Liam.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Schuster.
