Andrew Avon Martin

Andrew Avon Martin, 32, of Hurst, departed this world Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Denton. He was born October 27, 1993, in Arlington, Texas.

He is survived by his son, Charlie Nova Martin; his daughter, Lucille Vera Lynn Martin; his mother, Deedra Martin; his grandparents, Mickey and Tabitha Ferguson; also, by many friends and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Mickey Ferguson; his grandmother, Vera Ferguson; his maternal grandparents, Hershel Avon Martin and Shirley Martin.

Andrew achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2011, and he graduated from L. D. Bell High School. He was an eleven-year honor orchestra violin player and was awarded a four-year scholarship to Abilene Christian University.

Funeral services honoring Andrew’s life will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, in the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:30 to 12:30 Friday, February 13, 2026, in the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel.
