Tammy Dee Holloway

November 17, 1972 - April 26, 2022

Tammy Dee (Bales) Holloway, age 49, passed away on April 26, 2022, in Grapevine, Texas. Tammy is survived by her husband Leon Holloway, her sons Cody Leon Holloway and David Ryan Holloway, all residing in Grapevine; her parents, David and Johnnie Bales of Amarillo, Texas; her sister Laura Pagan and husband Jaime of Oklahoma City; her brother David Justin Bales and wife Julia of Amarillo, Texas; also many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by four loving grandparents. Tammy was born on November 17, 1972 in Amarillo, Texas. She accepted Christ as her savior and made a profession of faith at Bykota Baptist Church when she was eight years old. In 1991, she married her high school sweetheart and then in 1995, her oldest son was born, followed by her youngest son in 1997. When the boys got older, Tammy enjoyed working with children in childcare centers, with her last job being at Castle Creek Christian Academy. She had many long-lasting friendships, was proud to be a “boy mom,” “mama bear,” and “daddy’s girl.” Tammy was a loving mother and wife who was always ready to travel. Her happy place was the beach with Leon or on the slopes with her boys. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Lucas Memorial in Grapevine with a viewing Monday, the day prior, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family wishes expressions of sympathy be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
