Ramona Elizabeth Brady

January 8, 1953 - April 3, 2022

Songstress and retired Senior Program Administrator, Ramona E. Brady (Auntie Mo) didn't go a day without caring for all those she knew and loved including the children in her life’s work at the State of Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance  Program. Sadly, our Mona passed away on April 3rd, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in Chicago, Illinois Mona attended Central High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated in 1970. She visited Spain during high school and catching the bug to travel, Mona along with two friends packed their bags after graduation and set off for the West Coast. They drove to San Diego where they rented an apartment, and all found jobs to pay their way. Most weekends were destined for trips across the border to Mexico and Mona would often spill the beans about their exploits but only after a little coaxing! Mona also traveled to Belize, England, and Ireland and spread her kindness among all those she met along the way. After Mona retired, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas. She settled into a new home there that she had built and made many dear and close friends in the years that followed. She was always caring, thoughtful and full of fun, she will be missed by all who knew her. Mona is survived by her sister, Gloria Rudesill, brother in-law Jerry Rudesill, her brother Douglas Ordon, sister in-law Patricia Ordon, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm CDT, Monday, May 2, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1601 South Main St., Keller, Texas 76248.
