Patricia Ann (Martin) Palmer

December 11, 1933 - May 21, 2022

Patricia Ann (Martin) Palmer was born on December 11, 1933 in Crestline, Kansas to the late Gladys (Davis) Martin and George Edward Martin. Patricia died on May 21, 2022 surrounded by her children in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 88. Patricia was a homemaker and helped with various business ventures. She was a member of the Church at the Cross. Most everyone knew her by her sweetness and smile. She rarely would go without her signature red lipstick. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years, Bobby Joe Palmer; son, Garrick Bruce Palmer; brother, Eddie Martin and sister, Nancy Scott. She is survived by daughter, Pamela DeSchepper and husband, Dan of Moline, Illinois; daughter, Priscilla Close of Bedford, Texas; and son, Gregg Palmer of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Brooke Shadden and husband, Danny, Chelsea Holland and husband, Robey, Mallory Close, Miranda Perotti and husband, Alex, Brock DeSchepper, Christian Palmer, Jonathan Palmer, Emma Palmer, and Grant Palmer; Four great-grandchildren, Delilah, Danny, Jr., Dexter, and Merrit; and numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and a host of friends. Patricia was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst located at 1321 Precinct Line Road. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 28, 2022 also at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. A committal service will be held at 9:15 A.M., Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
