Lisa Marie Hiefner

November 23, 1986 - June 2, 2022

Lisa Marie Richards Hiefner, 35, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 after an undetected brain aneurysm. Lisa was born on November 23, 1986, to William Paul Richards and Kimberly Gray Richards Garrett in Arlington, Texas. After graduating high school, Lisa found many opportunities and friends in working life, but her greatest accomplishment was stepping into the role of motherhood. Lisa’s family and friends will remember her clever sense of humor, genuine kindness, love of cooking and support for her children’s activities. Most days, she could be found at the soccer fields with Bedford-Euless Soccer Association as a team mom/manager for the L’Aces and Defenders, coach to the Thundercats and team member on Trinity. She also served on the board and was an active member in her children’s Parent Teacher Organization and the BESA Board. Her friends and family will greatly miss her delicious meals, outdoor grilling, as well as the singing and dancing she always served alongside. She was the life of the party and truly enjoyed time with her family and friends. Those memories that friends and family hold of Lisa are overflowing with laughter and filled with her love and shenanigans. Her presence will be greatly missed by many. Lisa’s generosity continued after her passing, as her wishes to give the gift of organ donation to others in need was fulfilled. Many came to honor her and celebrate these gifts of life. Lisa is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Pierce Richards; maternal grandfather, Willard Gray; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Laub Olmstead; maternal aunt, Kelly Gray Scheneck. She is survived by her husband, Travis Hiefner; daughters, Petyon and Addison Spencer; step-sons, Connor Hiefner and Landon Spencer; father and step-mother, William Paul and Barbara Richards; mother and step-father, Sean and Kimberly Garrett; sister Danielle Richards Benbrooks and family; paternal grandmother, Florence Richards and maternal grandmother Nancy Gray; numerous aunts and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas on Saturday June 25th, 2022 at 3:00pm. “On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 3:00 pm, a Live Stream of Lisa's Celebration of Life will be viewable here https://video.ibm.com/channel/DURgpAb2EXm
