Kelly Malcolm Varley

December 24, 1969 - February 19, 2022

Kelly Malcolm Varley went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Kelly was born on December 24, 1969 in Paris, Texas to Yvonne and Ronald Varley. His family remembers him lovingly as a man of many talents. Growing up his parents owned a woodworking and manufacturing company where Kelly put his hands to work learning how to artfully create custom furniture. He graduated from Hugh Springs High School in Hugh Springs, Texas graduating in the top ten of his class. He was a member of the National Honors Society and taught himself software and hardware programming. After graduation he excelled in all thing’s technology related. He had a creative mind and started many projects to keep himself occupied. Kelly used his woodworking and metalworking skills to design furniture for his own home. He married Michelle Dabney on May 8, 1999 and the two began a life together. Kelly was a devoted father and husband to Michelle and Keilah. In his spare time Kelly loved to read. And continued his education, graduating with his Master’s degree from Tarleton State University in 2020. Kelly and Michelle loved to travel and enjoyed many trips to several places around the world. A few of their favorites were Oregon, Spain and Finland. Most recently they were in Madrid, Spain were they thoroughly enjoyed being with his coworkers who were also his best friends. Kelly has joined in Heaven, his father, Ronald Wilson Varley. He has left his memory to be cherished by his wife of 22 years, Michelle Varley of North Richland Hills; mother, Yvonne Sponsel Varley of Malakof; daughter, Keilah Foster and husband Landon of North Richland Hills; He was so proud to be GranDude to his two grandsons, Skye and Rafen; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
