John Graves

October 22, 1957 - March 16, 2022

Johnnie Graves, 64, went home to Jesus Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 22, 1957 in Long Beach, California. Johnnie enjoyed a wonderful life filled with his faith in Jesus, his wonderful children, his precious grandsons and countless family and friends. He loved playing drums in a band that was part of the Jesus Music movement of the 1970’s, traveling throughout the United States, and sharing the gospel of Jesus. He adored his wife Debbie of 42 years, his children and grandchildren. He was a member of The Hills Church and his church family was very dear to him as well. He worked as a material control planner at Elbit Systems of America for 25 years. He was loved by so many and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L Graves and Mary Elizabeth Marshall Graves and his sister Mary Katherine Day. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his children, Jennifer Parks (Travis) Julie Puckett (Christopher) Joshua Graves (Jessica) and his adored grandchildren, Jackson, Tyler and Dylan. He is also survived by his brother Robert Graves (Suzi) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 11 am, Friday, March 25, 2022 at The Hills Church, 6300 NE Loop 820, Fort Worth, Texas 76180. Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, March 25, 2022 at Bourland Cemetery, 901 Bourland Road, Keller, Texas 76248. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American LungAssociation or American Heart Association
