Gwen was born January 14, 1942 in Shrewsbury, Ky to the late Clarence Dockery and Loretta Mingus Dockery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Wanda Knight.
Survived by her daughters, Debbie Cornell and her husband, Randy of Newark, Diana Burton and her husband, Ted of Oklahoma City, and Brenda Waller of Hurst; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Whitaker and his wife, Patti of Kentucky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
