Darline Imogene (Solberg) Martin

February 1, 1935 - January 25, 2022

Darline Imogene Solberg Martin was born February 1, 1935 in Bergland, Michigan to the late Alta (Jarvis) Solberg and Willard Solberg. She passed away on January 25, 2022 in Fort Worth Texas at the age of 86 years old. Darline was a graduate of Bergland High School in Michigan. She enjoyed to cook and bake. She loved animals, especially dogs; she even loved to pet sit for others. She was an avid sports fan and liked to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Above all, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alta and Willard Solberg. She is survived by her loving sons, Larry Martin and wife, Teresa of Springtown, Texas and Ronnie Martin of Hurst, Texas; beloved grandchildren, Misty Gray and husband, Rylan and Kyle Martin and wife, Jennifer; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Levi Gray, Bliss Gray, and Remington Gray. A visitation will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst followed by funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Interment and Graveside will also be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas.
