Barbara J. Tomlin

Barbara J. (Price) Tomlin was born on March 6, 1933 in Ruston, Louisiana to the late Olieta (Baker) Price and Claude Price. She passed away on February 12, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 87 years old.
Barbara was full of energy. It has been said they she could work circles around others. She was an award-winning floral designer and loved arranging flowers. She enjoyed working in her yard and gardening. She will be remembered for her generosity. However, her face lit up when she got to hold a baby. She truly loved her family and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clayton Wayne White; and daughter, Lisa Donelle Tomlin.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Hartigan and husband, Charles of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Verna Louise Perdue of Pensacola, Florida; grandsons, Nyal Barber, III., Jason Barber, Clayton Barber, and Troy Barber and wife, Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Kadense Barber, Nyal Barber, IV, Devin Barber, Samuel Dean Barber, Seth Barber, Gavin Barber, Samantha Barber, and Alexandra Barber; as well as two nieces, Claudette Simmons and Roxanna Lata.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral Service will also be held at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 26, 2021 with interment at Tomlin Family Cemetery in Arlington, Texas.
